Hello Ray and Judith My husbands greatgrandfather SAMUEL COLES arrived in NSW on the Nimroud in 1856, where abouts I dont know but was in NZ in 1886 in Nelson where he married ELIZABETH ROBINSON child no1 EDWARD B&D1866 child no2 HELEN b1868 both born in nelson NZ,shortly after this they went to NSW HELEN died 1869 at Milcombe Ballalaba, witnesses to this death were a WILLIAM COLES AND A JAMES COLES I would love to know their relationship to SAMUEL COLES. 1870- Death registered to Samuel&Elizabeth of CHARLES B1870 D1870 THEY were then at ARALUEN Samuels occ was goldminer. 1871-MAJOR CREEK birth of another HELEN Samuels occ = miner 1872- MAJOR CREEK birth of WILLIAM URBIN Samuels occ miner they came back to NZ shortly after to Nelson and were there until Samuels death in 1887 other children they had in NZ Alice LILLIAN b1873 HENRY URBIN B1875-THOMAS B1876-DAISY ISOBEL B1878- MARK B1879- JAMES B1918 D1918 in the war- AMY B1883- MARY EDITH B1886-the only one I cannot find is WILLIAM who was born in NSW. SAMUELS parents were JAMES AND MARY (nee) FRENCH married in 1804 and had all their family at MILCOMBE BLOXHAM in OXFORDSHIRE FAMILY=HANNAH B1805 -ELIZABETH B1807- MARK B1811- RACHEL B1813 URBAN B1816- JANE B1818- MARY B1820- JAMES B1823- SARAH B1825 THOMAS-B1828-SAMUEL B1831,hope this helps in some way, being new to this internet I tried to send this back to your email address but it came back to me? so have done it this way . regards LOIS COLES
