    3. Dear Jennifer, Hi, I thought that I should get in before the renown Braidwood researcher, Christine Wright beats me. My ancestor was William Taylor who was shown working on Dr Reids property in the County of St Vincent (later Reidsdale) in the 1825 Muster of NSW. He married Catherine Hogan, a servant on the Inverary Park estate. Unfortunately, my Taylor family severed ties with Reidsdale when the "Fairmead" homestead & property were sold last year. The old gaol at Inverary Park, Bungonia has been restored. > Details of two properties held by Dr. David Reid are given in the 1828 > Census. They are Inverary Park near Bungonia and Jemacabene {Jembaicumbene] > approx 10 kilometres south of Braidwood near the junction of Jembaicumbene > and Reidsdale Creeks. 3. Tim, >I am trying to find out about William Wilson and Mary Ann Gray. I know that >William's parents were David Wilson and Isabella Meldrum, that he arrived in >Australia in 1852, and that he was a teacher at Foxground. William and Mary >Ann were married in 1856. William WILSON was born c1826 in Co. Donegal. He died at Arncliffe, NSW on 12NOV1902. Being from Donegal, he was possibly related to the multitude of WILSONs also living in the Gerringong/Foxground area - they were mostly from northern Fermanagh and western Tyrone, both bordering on Donegal. >Any other information or contacts from other people researching this family >would be of great assistance. William and Mary had four children: 1. Margaret (1858- ) 2. William John (1861- ) 3. David James (1862- ) m. Annette Louisa Ada RICHARDSON (daughter of Sarah, nee RUTTER - over to you Cathy Dunn!) 4. Jane Mary 1864-1947) m. William C SHEPHERD Your comments in the message suggest you are already familiar with Ross Wilson's work on the GRAY family?
