Hello List, Another branch on my tree also spent time in Mudgee. My G grandmother ELIZABETH JANE BRUCE was bn c1849 in Mudgee to parents JAMES BRUCE & SOPHIA LEMON. ELIZABETH married James John Taylor 20 March 1878 at Wellington NSW. Not sure about her mother's maiden name. Elizabeth's marriage certificate only states her mother as Sophia but on Elizabeth's death certificate it states SOPHIA LEMON (informant was Elizabeth's son) I would love to hear from anyone who is researching the Bruce or Lemon? families.
