Lorraine Just to let you know, I researched the Skimmings family as part of my Masters thesis on John Verge's estate Austral Eden. The Skimmings were part of the study. A copy of my thesis was deposited in 1999 with the Macleay River Historical Society as well as the research notes including my transcriptions of BDM's from the Kempsey courthouse. The family were on Austral Eden in the late 1860s. If you require some of this information let me know.
