Hi, I have just joined this list and would like to list my interests. My main interest is the Bruce family. However Henry Bruce a blacksmith who was born in 1831 (England) married a Mary Ann Walker (born 1832?) who was the daughter of Mathew Walker and Sarah Sessions who with their family came out to Aust on the Canton in 1848. I would be interested in corresponding with anyone who is descended from this family with a view to confirming the date of birth of Mary Ann. Matthew & Sarah Walker lived in the Emu Plains area, they both died in the Penrith/Emu Plains area in 1859 & 1860. Jennifer Bruce in Dubbo
