2003 marks the 200th anniversary of the beginning of European settlement in the Penrith district at Castlereagh. Penrith City Council and Library are holding their second annual conference to celebrate this milestone in our local history. The conference, "The Makings of a City: Bicentenary of European Settlement" will be held on Saturday 29 March 2003. The programme has been finalised and the brochures have been printed!
