Hello Peter, Robert Bolton and Ann Smith had 12 children. Would you happen to know their names? I note that you are descendent from Hannah. I am a descendent from Sarah Bolton. Robert Bolton was the son of William Bolton and Sarah Skilling from Wiltshire, England. Do you know if Robert had any siblings? Kind Regards Sharron
Hello Sharron Yes I have 12 children but one of them. Thomas born c 809 Sydney died 1827 Parramatta is in dispute as he was not shown on the 1828 Census. I may eliminate him from the team. The 1814 General Muster showed 5 children off stores but there were eight - not including Thomas but including twins Ann and George born 13 March 1814. The twins would not have been living off stores at that early age I would think. (General Muster October 17th to November 16th 1814. Page 34) The General Muster of NSW 2nd Sept. to 13th Sept. 1822, Page 43, showed 9 children but there were 10 still not including Thomas. The General Musters of NSW 1823 to1825. Page 45 showed 8, but Margaret and Mary were married by then and Hannah was not born. So that makes 11, with no Thomas. Does any other Bolton folk have ideas on Thomas? Have I got any of the figures wrong?
