    3. The list has been a bit quiet in the past couple of weeks. Perhaps it's time to have a roll call as a number of people have joined the list recently. I'm researching the Chalker/Charker line. William Chalker was born in 1774 and died at South Creek in 1823. He was transported for 7 years, arriving in 1802. His first wife was Mary Kearns (1768- 1826) - in 1807 an attorney was engaged to draw up Articles of Separation and he met Elizabeth Sheckel who arrived in 1808) shortly after. Elizabeth had a son Daniel (1806-1891) who came with her from England. William and Elizabeth's children are as follows Edward (1809-1890) William James (1810-1891) Maria (1811-1891) Joseph Henry (1813 - 1893) John (1815-1879) - the line I'm am particularly interested in. James (1817-1907) Mary Ann (1818 - 1873) George (1821 - 1893) Elizabeth had another son - Frederick (1825-1850) after William's death, by another man. I also have a general interest in the Penrith area. Kind Regards, Danielle List Admin
