Hello Reg, Actually it is called the Macleay River Historical Society, Inc. The address is PO Box 390 Kempsey NSW 2440, telephone 6562 7572. The society has a museum situated with the Kempsey Cultural Centre at South Kempsey which is open 10am to 4pm daily. They have a good collection of family history related material including microfilm of extant copies of the Macleay Argus and Macleay Chronicle. You would need to make an appointment to conduct personal research.
