Hello everyone, I am new to this list and hopefully on the right one! While researching my Glass / Davidson family in Scotland I found a monumental inscription stating that one member of the family, James DAVIDSON died in NSW in August 1869 at "Boemby Creek" This I assume is the same place as Boambee Creek. James is the son of John Davidson and Elizabeth McGrigor, tenant farmers in Strathgirnock, Glenmuick, Aberdeenshire. The stone also states that James died by accidental drowning. So far I have not been able to locate a death for James. I was wondering if anyone on this list is connected with this family, or can point me in the right direction as to finding / obtaining a death certificate or an inquest into the death. Any information would be most appreciated. Sincerely Sharon (Penrith NSW)
