Hi Everyone I am searching for my cousin Dorothy WHITE (we called her Aunty). She was born between 1920 and 1925 in Sydney (we think). Her mother was Sarah WHITE and we believe her father was Charles WHITE.We lost contact in the 1960's when she was living (we think) in central NSW. She had contacted my mother about 1965 after her sister Ethel died. Ethel died in St.Kilda, Vic in 1964. Dorothy said she was married and Mum thinks the name was Noakes, but we are not sure as Dorothy was adopted out when she was young, and that Noakes may have been her adopted name. We believe Dorothy and her brother Freddy were adopted out together from Sydney. Dorothy also said she had children. When she was talking to Mum she asked about the racehorses in Glen Innes, apparently their had been racehorses in the family early this century. If Dorothy is still alive she would be around 80 years old. She may be even in a nursing home. Dorothy's mother, Sarah, lived at "Butter Leaf", Glen Innes between the years 1927 and 1937. Sarah White died in Stockton in 1956. Dorothy had a sister, Ethel, b. 1914, Frederick, b. 1918, Alexander, b. ? 1926, d. 1926. and John Albert White, born 1928 in Collaroy, NSW. Can someone check local electoral rolls or phone books, or death notices, or etc. etc. any clues would be great. Does anyone know of my Aunt and my cousins?
