    3. Hi everyone I am trying to trace any descendants of (and any info on): * Percival Hilliar and May Matilda Catherine Hilliar (nee LEES). They were married in 1902, and had a daughter, May, in 1902. Percival was the son of Susan Saunders and John Hilliar - (m 1859). * Myrtle B (nee Lees) and Frederick FLORY - they were married in 1917 (I have no other details); * William S Lees and Rita A Lees (nee Lavis) - married 1923; * Marjory (nee Lees) and Thomas Gardner (m 1911) * Gladys Ivy (nee Lees) and Percy J Paine (married 1917). * Laura Alice (nee Lees) and Clarence L Hancock (m 1911) - the children I have for them are Lester D (born 1912, at Ballina); and Clarence G, (born 1915 - Ballina) * May, Myrtle, William, Marjory, Gladys and Laura (as well as James Harold) were the children of Thomas Henry Lees and Catherine Lees (nee Bridge). I believe that they would all have been on the North Coast - I suspect Percival Hilliar is the Percival Hilliar mentioned in this quote: "Condong Public School, in their Centenary booklet (1988) gives praise and commendation to their longest serving principal, Mr. Percival Hilliar. He conducted swimming and life-saving classes in the Tweed River for residents and pupils of Condong for 27 years. A dock extending into the river was the platform for swimming lessons until 1920 when the dock collapsed. The CSR replaced the jetty so that recreation could continue." from Netmag.com.au Any info most gratefully received Thanks Leanne

    1. Searching the Norco archives and the NSW North Coast on line book indexes

    3. Hi, Just a reminder that you can search the archives of the Norco mail list for 1999 and 2000 from Bellingen Gen Web www.rootsweb.com/~nswbelli The search box is the white one on the welcome page a few inches below the picture of the Bellinger. The NSW North Coast Book Indexing Project is also part of Bellingen Gen Web and if you search the Bellingen Gen Web site you are automatically searching the on line book indexes. The search box is the yellow on a few inches below the picture of the Bellinger River. If you have any books about the area and its history or families, I would be grateful if you would consider transcribing or scanning the indexes for the NSW North Coast Book Indexing Project See www.rootsweb.com/~nswbelli/transcribe.html for the why and how and the links to indexes from the books page www.rootsweb.com/~nswbelli/books.html for examples of the finished product.
