Hi List, I am looking for some background info. on my maternal grandfather, Maurice WEEKS who was a banana grower and carpenter in the Mullumbimby area in the 1900-1940's. Various stories in the family say that he was heavily involved in the BGF (Banana Growers Federation), the Mullumbimby Show Society, the local Rifle Club (he was a sniper in WW1) and possibly other community groups. Does anyone know if there are records from the Rifle CLub or Show Society showing office bearers, prize winners, etc. that have survived? Would appreciate any assistance, Janelle (now living in Sydney).
