Alexander and Mary (nee CUMMINS) BROCK were married at St Mary's RC Church, Sydney in 1837, they had numerous children (NSW BDM shows some duplicated entries) including Elizabeth born 1847 (no district shown) and it seems that they moved to the north coast. A Mary BROCK died aged 42, at Macleay River in 1856. I may have found Elizabeth BROCK who was "adopted" by Rosanna ROBINSON in Grafton (according to Elizabeth's marriage certificate). I am wondering what happened to Alexander and the other children and am also wondering whether Alexander could have been called Allan as I have found references to an Allan BROCK in the Kempsey district, in NSW BDM. If Elizabeth BROCK wasn't the daughter of Alexander and Mary, then who were her parents? I would appreciate any ideas. With thanks, Margery
