All readers are invited to the Berry Federation Picnic on Saturday 12 May 2001 at the Berry Showground. A full programme of events are planned including Displays, Procession, Ring Events, and Demonstrations. Of particular interest to those whose families were at some time associated with the Berry Estate from 1822 will be the Family History Display. Descendants of the following pioneer families of the the North Shoalhaven are mounting displays. The local indigenous families and Bailey, Bennett, Berry, Bice, Binks, Blow, Boyd, Boxsell, Brandon, Campbell, Cantell Chamberlain, Claydon, Cox, Cullen, Devitt, Glanville, Graham, Greer, Hall, Hay, Henry, Holland, Hanningan, Host, Hutchinson, Huxley, Ingold, Irvine, Jarrett, Kellett, Knapp, Lidbetter, Manle, Mathers, McIntyre, McLean, McKinnon, Miller, Morrissey, Morschel, Munro, Olive, Packer, Pepper, Peterkin, Reid, Rutledge, Sharpe, Shepherd, Strong, Taylor, Thompson, Thorburn, Timbs, Ulrick, Waddell, Watson, Weeks, Weir, Wilson, Wollstonecraft Wright. These displays will take different forms as decided by the families involved. Several of the local Family History Societies and local Historical Societies will be in attendance to assist researchers.
