The Coffs Harbour City Library have the reels for the Advocate from 1907. In 1925 it would have been titled the "Coffs Harbour and Dorrigo Advocate". If you emailed the Librarian she may throw it on a reader and check it for you. Obits usually appeared in first issue after a funeral. The library catalogue is online and reachable from http://www.chcc.nsw.gov.au/library/index.html However it will incorrectly tell you the library only has microfilm from 1982-89. Also the NSW State Reference Library have the microfilms from 1907.
