Sandra I'm wondering if this book also details ships/boats travelling to Ballina then Lismore? I have, in my tree, this comment, written by a family member... "Jan 9th (1879) I left Sydney By the Richmond Steamer for the Richmond River and Arrived All Safe At Lismore 81 Miles up the Richmond River on the 12th Jan, 79," Now, try as I may, I can't verify the name of the steamer. I'm wondering if you can, or point me in the right direction to clarify this and maybe get a picture of this steamer. There are many ships named in this book as well as shipping companies, but not passengers. It may help to have a look at Rod Gow"s Index at a library as they sometimes give the name of people travelling along the coast.
