Dear Cathy Replying to your research interest in the FITZSIMMONS family: my wife, Judy, has a 2nd great grandmother, Rise Emily FITZSIMMONS,whose parents were Patrick FITZSIMMONS and Eleanor (nee DUFF) . Rose's marriage certificate says that her birthplace was Dublin in 1856. She married Robert Kerr MURRAY,(born 1843 at Dundalk, County Louth) on Christmas Day, 1880 at Tenterfield NSW.
