More information needed?? Well I dont have much and its not my family its for a friend I am doing this research. Victor Harold Thompson supposedly born 10/3/1908 at Ashfield NSW His parents as per his marriage certificate shows Father: James William Thompson Mother: May Weatherstone. Victor was married 7/3/1935 at Orange to Linda May Williamson. Victor may have a half brother named Lionel, unsure of surname. May Weatherstone maybe deceased at time of Victor's wedding 1935. I think James Thompson is not Victor's real father, but adopted or something. Maybe James William Thompson went to war and died. Maybe May Weatherstone had married again. The family thinks the surnames of WITHERS, WETHERS, WINTERTON OR WINTERS are involved. The dates of Victor's birth are very similar to his marriage date. Also his wife's middle name is also his mother's first name. Is it a coincidence or did they make up the info??? Back in 1935 would you need to show birth registration of bride and groom??? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
