Hello Leona, Perhaps you could give her Membership in a Genealogy Society for a Birthday or Christmas Gift. She will be able to do her own research, probably make new friends and have lots of enjoyment, and will eventually realise that you are right ...... and she will most likely "get hooked" as we all do, and you will have someone to help do the research.
