Hi Beverly, Try http://www.bellingen.com/flyingfoxes/get_to.htm which talks about a small island in the town of Bellingen itself. The only other island I can think of is a small island at Mylestom, near the mouth, but I can't find it on any maps, and I don't know if it has a name. The Kalang River, which shares a mouth with the Bellingen River has several small islands. Sorry I couldn't find anything specific for you.
