I am researching the families of John & Eliza FORD who moved to the Grafton area in the early 1870s. They had 13 children all up and I am most willing to share my research with those who'd like to share theirs. Also researching the STARR families of Australia. Particularly that of Edmund STARR and Mary Anne STARR who were the first Starr marriage in Australia in December 1838 at Heber Chapel, Cobbitty, NSW. I have 7000 connected persons on my database and am very interested in all the Starr families who came to Australia, particularly those whose ancestors were from East Sussex. The other family in the northern rivers area with whom I have connections is that of John David FARQUHAR and his wife Rhoda Jane WEBB who were married at Stockton, near Newcastle, in 1843. They had 11 children, mostly female and the associated names there are PATEMAN; CREIGHTON; FORD; POYNTER; PETERSEN; JONES; SWITZER; DALSON and BAKER.
