Rod wrote: "Any on have infomation on This William BAILEY of Maitland who are his parents" I cannot find any reference to your William Bailey in books I have on history of Clarence River district; but, as you'd know, Rod, sometimes we have to look further into the family to find the answers we seek. With that in mind, I'm sending the following , taken from the book "Maclean: The first fifty years 1862-1912" - "Bailey, Arthur Blackburn. Arthur Bailey, a saddler, had first married Hannah Perkins at Singleton & had a family of twelve children. In 1903 in Maclean he married Mary Cuckney, described as a laundress. When Arthur died in 1917 he was described as a 'well-known resident of Maclean.' Mary died in 1929." Could Arthur BAILEY have been a brother to the William BAILEY you are seeking? Kerry C
