Dear Anne I have a note about two McDONOUGH families, one from Glen Innes and one from Roseberry near Kyogle. Eileen McDONOUGH married George Lorimer GREENTREE (Lorrie) in 1940 at Glen Innes and had two children with him, Mary in 1941 and Peter in 1943. She died at Gunnedah on 2 June 1980. Another Eileen (Eileen MANEWELL) married J. McDONOUGH. Her parents were Bill MANEWELL and Daisy ALLISON. This family is mentioned in Bruce WILSON's book "Kyogle and District Early Settlers" published probably around 1980. Bill MANEWELL took his family to the Kyogle district in 1915 by bullock waggon and worked at Roseberry in the timber industry. This Eileen and her siblings went to school at The Risk. Not much information, but hope it helps.
