Hi All I am trying to find parents for Henrietta Frances JACKSON who married Benjamin COOPER at Richmond River 1859. The COOPER family was involved with Cedar cutting industry around Gundurimbah. On the marriage certificate her birthplace is shown as Leister (possibly should be Leicester) and her mother's maiden name as Frances HERBERT. Age on the certificate indicates she was born around 1838 although I feel it may be more like 1841. From her Death Certificate it would appear that she came to Australia around 1847. Some documentation shows her Christian names as Frances Henrietta or Henrietta Frances. While I have many details for her after her marriage it would be great to know her heritage. Will gladly exchange my data with anyone who has similar interests. Regards Rhonda Paine, Central Mangrove.
Hi Rhonda, The immigrant index on-line has the following Jackson's: http://www.records.nsw.gov.au/publications/immigration/index1844-59/search.htm Ship 'Stebonheath' arrived 1858 1. Ann Jackson - age 21 - c.1837 2. Emma Jackson - age 22 - c.1836 3. Henrietta Jackson - age 19 - c.1839 4. James Jackson - age 18 - c.1840 Maybe brothers & sisters. I recently obtained a list for a married couple who sailed to NSW in 1857, it also included on the list, where they were born and that the husband's parents were deceased and only the wife's mother was still alive. I thought the last piece of information was most helpful, as I probably wouldn't have found that info elsewhere. Is Henrietta's death: year 1900 - parents: Herz & Frances - Lismore? Kind regards, Sherrie Blackman. Sydney. Bob & Rhonda Paine wrote: > Hi All > > I am trying to find parents for Henrietta Frances JACKSON who married > Benjamin COOPER at Richmond River 1859.
