    3. Hi Vanessa, I'm not sure this'll be any help, but you could try looking for a map or other details on the Lismore City Council website: http://www.liscity.nsw.gov.au/ I looked in the cemetery index for all the people you listed, but none of them was there. However, the only ones in the online database appear to me to be fairly recent (the earliest listing I got was 1969) and it includes only the Lismore Lawn Cemetery and Goonellabah Memorial Gardens. I couldn't find any other cemeteries mentioned on this website. When last I was there about a year ago, I was able to use their search facility to extract all DOWLING, PERCY, MILGATE and MOORE listings. Now they seem to have changed the site so you can search for only one person at a time. They've made it mandatory to enter a christian name as well as surname so a blanket search is no longer possible. Sorry I can't help more. 3. Hi Does anyone know where the Lismore Cemetry is in Barham St.I went looking and could not find it. I do not live in Lismore so don't know many streets. Martin and Lucy CRANE are burued there in 1910 and 1928 in the catholic section. Their certifcates just said Catholic section Lismore Cemerty so I went to the one on the Miltary Rd. Someone sent me some info telling they were in the Barham St,one. Does the Miltary Rd Cemetry have a Methodist section as I couldn't find it,no signs telling ,there are sighs ect for the Presbytrian ,Catholic and Seven Day Adventist. I have a Shelton and Mary SMITH died 1922 and 1943 buried at Lismore Cemetery,Methodist Section,as stated on their certficates. But they may be in the Barham St Cemetry, just like the other ones. Also have a Martha SIVEWRIGHT died 1870 ,buried at Lismore Cemetry, religion is down as "none". If anyone has cemetry books with grave numbers ect, could you please do a look up for me and see where these people actually are, because the Family History rooms are shut for the holidays and I would like to get to them before the holiday period finishes. Thankyou Kindly, Vanessa

    3. Lee, I am researching personnel who enlisted from the Port Macquarie area during WW1 and have an Albert Edward De Vere 2299 Pte 20 Battalion, who enlisted Jun 29, 1915 and was KIA May 3, 1917 aged 24. He was born at Port Macquarie, but his next of kin details are:- Son of Alfred De V of 136 Oberon St Coogee, NSW and the late Mrs De V. He is buried at 26 Villiers Bretonneux-France. These details can be seen at the Aust War Memorial web site and the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. If you wish I can scan them and e-mail them to you. Would be interested in any family details and/or letters, intending to publish a book similar to my "Letters From The Boer War", available at [email protected] . Mrs B. Robins at our Port Macquarie Historical Society could advise if we hold any details on McKell.(same address) Ian, Port Macquarie ----- Original Message ----- From: Bob & Lee Mills <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, December 27, 2000 6:10 PM Subject: McKELL & DE VERE FAMILIES > Would love to hear from anyone researching the names McKELL or DE VERE in the PORT MACQUARIE areas. > Thanks > Lee > > Lee Mills > North Nowra > N.S.W. > Australia > > > ==== AUS-NSW-NORCO Mailing List ==== > Search the archived emails of the Norco and other lists.
