    3. Hi Glynis, The Campbell St. location seems to be a bit of a red herring - i just found it listed on an Inverell website (in addition to St Augustine's.) Baptisms, marriages, etc. pre-dating St Augustine's would most likely be carried out by a minister going around the district from some central church. In this case St Peter's, Armidale. Other churches did the same thing, and I have some early Anglicans elsewhere baptised by a Methodist minister on circuit because he happened to be the first one to arrive there. There was a similar discussion to this on the Hunter Valley list recently concerning early Hexham and Christ Church, Newcastle.
