    3. Thanks Jenny, I had imagined a fairly sparse rural area (as it probably was in 1800's) - but population of 7000+ makes it sound more like a suburb of Glen Innes. I think from the govt website I have seen but can't find at the moment, it's about 7km out of town. Looks like I need to make a visit, sure to find some more info and get some good photos! The hard part of course will be to find land records to locate the family farm, without being able to first visit NSW archives in Sydney. Hopefully Glen Innes FHS will be able to help.     3. Steve, A friend of mine lives in G.I and I asked him about this place. His reply was: " its just west of glen innes and Furracabad road starts in Glen Innes near the saleyards, lovely area, named after a cattle property by the same name."
