    3. Dear Anne, Many many thanks for this information, I certainly didn't have it! Ann Rebecca BRIDEKIRK is the IKIN link from Clarence Town Nr Maitland, Hunter Valley & is my Great x 3 Grandmother and as such would be classified as a Hunter Valley "pioneer family" member. She, along with many other incredible women of the era, suffered much tragedy & sadness in her life with a 7 y o daughter & her husband Valentine BRIDEKIRK both drowning in floodwaters & her brother-in-law dying in an accident...she cared for her remaining 10 children and her 3 small nieces (to her late brother-in-law & sister Jane Fras(z)er) & her grandchildren. She must have been a feisty little person to last till her 94th year! She also is sister-in-law to the Inverell Bridekirk clan, William & Ellen Bridekirk. Many thanks again for this info Anne, it's v. much appreciated. ps: how can I discover burial details at Rookwood such as this for Ann Rebecca ? Is it possible to find an Index for Rookwood on the Net or can someone be contacted by 'phone regarding Rookwood burials ?
