Hi List, My name is Bill WHITE and I have just joined this List I am relatively new to researching families in NSW as most of my line comes from the Victorian Gold fields area. I have now moved on to look at my daughters husband's line so the Grandchildren have a frame of reference. The major initial focus is on the BRITTON family who first appear around the 1890's in Quirindi area. I have some burials indicated in surrounding cemeteries, Werris Creek, Gunnedah and Willow Tree (information kindly provided by Liz Pritchard who may be a list member. I also suspect that there are more connections through Murrurundi. I must admit that I am a little bit lost in this area - I live in Cairns - and would appreciate any advice or assistance to help me find the trail as the on-line BDM list provides a lot of options and leads but at the moment I am confused..
