Catherine I have a copy of "The Mechanical Eye" and have located the following: R. S. Millington & Son - Byron Street, Inverell, NSW 1875 (Several entries appear for a 'Robert S Millington & Son' from 1856 - 1867 inc. Windsor, Wilberforce and Nepean, NSW - also, 'Travelling photographer' during this period. In 1868 'Millington & Metcalfe' worked in the Muswellbrook and Armidale areas; again, 'travelling photographers', but I don't know if this is the same person as 'R S Millington'.) George A Solomon - Glen Innes, NSW 1889 - 90 George A Solomon - Opp. Caledonian Hotel, Tamworth, NSW 1892 - 1900 Nothing listed at all for Cumming & McCall (or McCall & Cumming). Hope this helps.
