    3. Found in the Narrabri Cemetery the headstone and monumental inscription of John MORRISON drowned 2nd April 1890 Purchased a transcription of death 1890/2647 Morrison John, father John, mother Annie, place Balmain NSW. This is the only death registered for a John Morrison in 1890 and it is not the correct person. Asked the online librarian at the Mitchell Library if they could find any information (newspaper articles or death notice) on this drowning but sadly they could find nothing. A friend did go to the archives for me and looked for an inquest. (this friend is no longer able to research for me) Found one that could fit the bill : 18 April Woolomol, man name unknown about 50. Body found Peel River Tamworth 13 April. Drowned. Then it had JGP 19.4.90 RIP 29.4.90 No pages of the inquest exist unfortunately. It is only indexes. Questions Would a death be registered if and when this body been identified? Could a death be registered with-out a body? If so, how long after the event could this be done? Wait of how long? Help would be appreciated Rose Morrison
