Hi Listers, I am looking for information about the "Moor Creek Tragedy" as reported in the Tamworth Observer, Wendesday, September 5 1888 and subsequently. Briefly the matter relates to the murder/manslaughter of Patrick John KEENAHAN by Arthur COULTON. Coulton accused Keenahan of being the father of the child of Elizabeth Coulton - Arthur's sister. Keenahan was married to their mother Margaret Coulton (Nee SHORT) at the time. Keenhan was the Landlord of the Australian Arms Hotel at Moor Creek. I would be interested to hear from anyone who knows anything about this case, especially regarding the subsequent fate of the various players.
