Greetings to the :-)ing Administrator and those on this list. This is my "adopted area". From 1943-46 I was a PMG Technician on the "Armidale Relief". That took me to Guyra in mid winter and Walgett in mid summer and all those other places in between. I knew lots of techs, linies and, postal staff, switchies (married one from Glen Innes). Lovely memories of pubs, boarding houses, school teachers etc, which I am happy to share.
