The information I seek could be a big ask. I seek information re a family named Cullen who had a propery somewhere near Armidale in the 1850's. I have no other detail than that, it is lifted from an immigration record for a John Cugley (arrived Earl Grey 1851) who in his immigration record stated he had a brother Thomas working on a station owned by Mr Cullen near Armidale. My best hope is that someone may be researching the Cullen's and supply possible information at that time. The family I am researching is the Cugley's and are providing many mysterious loose ends. There is a possibility that John Cugley, wife Rebecca and child Rebecca did arrive at the Cullen property, it is possible they return to Sydney where her brother lived, it appears wife Rebecca died about 1854 and father John had a child a month later with another woman, it is also possoble that Rebecca jnr may have been left in the care of the Cullen's as on later birth certificates of her children she is listed as a Culley. However this all conjecture, as all members of my family are well deceased who may have been able to help. Thus if anyone has any information re the 1850's and a Cullen family it may provide a link I need, or tell me to boot my conjecture out with the dirty laundry.
