I wish to repost my interests in an attempt to learn more about my ancestors mentioned above. My gggrandfather was John Marshall. He married Mary Wilson in 1862 in the tiny church at `Wellingrove' via Glen Innes. Mary Wilson's sister Margaret Wilson married Johan Kroger who after the birth of their first child anglicised the name to (John) Creer. Story has it that both John Marshall and Johan Kroger and a third person John Pascoe all jumped ship together. I have not been able to confirm this although I have found individuals of these names (except Kroger) jumping ship but not from the same ship (as family have been led to believe). If anyone is researching these names I would love to hear from you. The first of whom was THOMAS JOHNSTONE (b 11.01.1829 in Kirkmichael, Scotland), a Presbyterian Minister. The wife of Thomas, was ELIZA JANE GLASS, they had 9 children. I have a Henry Alexander Cameron married to Laura Mary Swindell in 1908 in Inverell. They lived at Mt Russell which is about 15km out of Inverell, and Henry died in 1932 at Mt Russell, the BDM Index has his parents as Ewen and Frances for his death in 1932, and there is a birth in 1867 registered in Shoalhaven, parents Ewen and Frances. While looking at the Electoral Roll for 1909, I came across a Henry Alexander Hugh Cameron, whereas he lived in Inverell and was a bricklayer, checking the BDM Index he was born in 1884 at Inverell and his parents were George and Georgiana.
