Hi Suzanne, Seen your post and can add Edward WILSON is now dead as is his son Elwin WILSON but Bertha WILSON nee DOYLE is still alive. She lives not far from my Mother-in-law but don't know if she has any family history for you. Perhaps someone on list who lives in Uralla might be able to help you. Hello my name is Suzanne and I am researching my Mothers family, the Sheerins . My great Great Uncle Alexander Sheerin married Sarah Burgess in Maitland , their daughter Margaret Amelia Sheerin married Alexander Wilson in the Parsonage Glen Innes on the 31st December 1912. Sarah died when Margaret was 15 weeks old, and I beleive Margaret was brought up by Sarah's sister Jane Burgess (her Father Alexander remarried). Margaret and Alexander Wilson had five boys two died but three are named on her death certificate Stephen Alexander, Ivon Hugh, and Edward. Margaret died on the 3rd May 1938 and is buried Methodist Cemetery Uralla. sons........ Stephen born Inverell1914 died1938 Uralla--------Married Mavis Cordery 1914 Uralla. Ivon born Forbes1916-----------married Norma Doyle 1939 Uralla. Edward born 1917 Inverell--------married Bertha Doyle 1939 Uralla Ivon and Edward seem to have married on the same day and to sisters. I would welcome any help on the Wilson family Thank You Suzanne Kelly
If anyone out there has access to MI's for Manilla cemetery I'm looking for info on Thomas O'Brien who died at Manilla on 9 May, 1935. Tom was a blacksmith/farrier who was married to Frances Ann (nee Quinn). Thanks for your help Pete
Hi Frank, Yes, it COULD just be the luck of the Irish, because, from the little I know, the Edmonds/Edmunds family featured strongly in the Kingdom line. Frances (Fanny) Kingdom was my g-grandmother and I believe her mother may have been a Susan or Sarah Edmonds/Edmunds. I will keep you on-tap until I hear more.
