    3. Hi all, My name is Ron Gunn, I am new to this list and I would like to give a few details of my interests. I am researching the Gunn family who came to Glen Innes around 1890, my great grandfather Alexander Gunn, his son Robert Ferguson Gunn and my father Norman Douglas Gunn all lived on a small farm named "Ochil-Vale" situated in Hunter Street Glen Innes. The family left the district around 1954 and moved south. I look forward to being a member of this list and learning more of the history of the region. 3. Dear Listers When a message have already been answered , and you want to add your 2 bobs worth please take a second to so's time when you hit the reply key to see just who this reply is going to ! If you dont change it your reply will go to the person who has already replied or forwarded the message , not to the instigator of the info/query . While I have the soap box out . PLEASE edit your replies . Some of these can get very long if you all keep adding emails on top of emails and get lots of >> When replying to the person and the list , hit reply and leave the instigators email address in place . You just need to leave a little bit of the first message in place just to keep the thread of the 'conversation' and type in your reply If someone looks up something for you a short Thanks note is great and a line or two in place of the previous email helps alot so that the looker upper knows what they are being thanks for ! Happy hunting bye Marg Morters List-admin NSW-CENTRAL-COAST NSW-SYDNEY NSW-NEW-ENGLAND AUS-USA

I'd like to find the location of grave sites of some ancestors before I visit (rest of the family have limited tolerance levels for trawling through cemetaries!). If I have the section/grave numbers, locating possible headstones will be a much quicker process. We have two ancestors buried Church of England section, Armidale Cemetary: Thomas LAMB died 15 March, 1888, and Gertrude LAMB died 20 Sept 1903 Any help would be very much appreciated. 1. [NE] HAMMOND OR HARMON??
    2. Jill & Bob Kramer
    3. Hi to all listers Researching the HAMMOND or HARMON family. Henry William HAMMOND and his wife Eliza had a daughter Mary Ann HAMMOND born abt 1856 in Newcastle. Mary Ann married Valentine KRAMER on Henry's property at Red Farm on Bingara Road, near Inverell on 29 June 1874. Although I have quite a lot of information on the Kramer side, I am now trying to find out about the HAMMOND side, but with very little success. I think that Henry arrived in Australia with his parents then known as HARMON, on the Equestrian in 1848, but cannot find anything else, not even Mary Ann's birth registration. Can anyone help with any information on this. Regards Jill

    3. The outback Burials Project team is currently researching and photographing lone and isolated graves, particulary in the Walgett shire and Western area of NSW. Some burials have been identified as having taken place on district properties. These are being investagated and where possible photos taken. Unfortunately time has taken its toll and often no evedence now exists of these historic and family sights. We would be delighted to hear from any persons with knowledge of any isolated graves, or any who have ancestors whose last resting place is on a property.
