Patrick Power bc 1800 Thomastown Kilkenny (son of Patrick & Anastasia nee Brennan) died 15/7/1878 Nundle, married Ireland Margaret Ryan bc 1810 Mullinavat Kilkenny (daughter of Thomas & Mary) died NSW. Patrick & Margaret arrived aboard 'Gloriana' in 1856 with children all born Mullinavat Kilkenny, Margaret (b 1837), Mary (b 1839), Thomas (b 1841), John (b 1843), Hannah or Annie (b 1845), Bridget (b 1846). Their eldest son Patrick jnr bc 1835 arrived in 1867 after serving during the American Civil war with 15th West Virgina Infantry. Margaret is said to have been so disappointed with their new life in Australia, that she died from a broken heart on the journey somewhere between Maitland to Nundle. Maureen C
