Hi Listers, I am looking for any information out there about James LYNCHEY (or variants thereof) who was my GG grandmother's brother. James was born in Ireland C 1820 and was convicted on the Isle of Man in 1833. He arrived in Sydney on the Mary Ann in 1835. His Ticket of Leave # is 44/1537 issued at Muswellbrook in January 1844 when he would have been about 27 years of age. The ToL stated that he was to remain in the Moreton Bay District. This seems quite a distance away but may have been part of the same administrative district in the 1840's. Any assistance would be most appreciated. Cheers Peter Strauss Melbourne
