Nick Vine Hall's Parish Registers in Australia 1787-1990 lists some early Anglican records for Hexham but doesn't specifiy Christ Church, but I've come across baptisms 1830-1854 included in the Pioneer series of NSW bdm indexes recorded as "Hexham; Newcastle, Christ Church."
