Dunno if the State Library has this yet ? bye MargM Hunter Valley List Admin > > --------------------------------- > Do you Yahoo!? > Messenger 7.0: Free worldwide PC to PC calls > > > ==== AUS-NSW-Hunter-Valley Mailing List ==== > Please type surnames only in all caps . 3. Hi Jenny I have taken out the trial membership on a couple of occasions. The first time (about 2 years ago) I did have trouble at the end as Ancestry required you to contact their toll free number in the US to cancel the subscription. I took out the trial membership over Christmas 2005 and had no problems - but I made sure that I cancelled the membership about 3 working days before it was due and kept a copy of the email confirming the cancellation. Best wishes Jan -----Original Message----- From: girlbond [mailto:girlbond2003@yahoo.com.au] Sent: Tuesday, 7 February 2006 9:41 PM To: AUS-NSW-Hunter-Valley-L@rootsweb.com Subject: ancestry hi just wondering if any one has taken the membership 14 day Trial with ancestry and at the end of that time had any worries with ending there Membership thank you Jenny - ------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? 3. This topic is frequently aired on some of the Yorkshire England lists often at great length. I have not taken up the free offer from Ancestry, however I have subscribed to Ancestry.com.uk, which is part of the US Ancestry. Each quarter I get an email advising that the are going to bill me via my credit card, if I don't wish that to happen and wish to cancel my sub, I only have to email them. I have found a lot through this subscription and am staying on because I think they are adding the 1841 census some time this year.
