    2. Paul Power
    3. Greetings i am trying to make contact with anyone who has any knowledge about a irish convict called Michael Power , Earl of St Vincent 1818 . He moved to the Maitland area in 1831 and married a Helen /Ellen dott in 1833 . Helens death certificate said they had 15 children although i can only find John , Michael , Bridget , Ellen Nicholas , James and William . It is probably that some of the kids took of the name of Helens new husband when Michael passsed away or they died very young . Michael died at Fourmile creek in 1854 and a year later Ellen married a James Rush and moved to the Gwydir area. My problem is that Michael's death certificate didnt list any children or parents which makes irish research nearly impossible given Power is the commonest surname in County Waterford . I am looking for anyone who has Power in their family tree in the Maitland area as i am quite confident all the families are related in that area. I am also interested in anyone who has heard of the name James Pathey in the Millers forest area in the 1850s where he was working as a groom. Anyone with knowledge of that surname or something similar would be appreciated . I am also interestedin making contact who i havenot already spoken to regarding the Jory, Madden , Avard , Grant families . thanks for your time , regards Paul --------------------------------- Talk is cheap.
