    3. Hello listers, Last weekend I called into Jilliby Cemetery looking for a grave in the Presbyterian Section. Martin HEAGNEY died 10th Nov 1928, age 52, husband of Ellen PERRIN. Martin was the grandson of my convict ancestor also named Martin Heagney. Martin (jnr) was born 1876 and apparently ran the local picture theatre in Alison Road, Wyong. There is a cloud about his death, as he may have been blamed for the unexpected death of another family member. Anyway, can someone please suggest the name of the local newspaper of the time for the Wyong area ? I am hoping to find something in it about the picture theatre or his death. Many thanks, Jo from Sydney

    3. Hi Jo, Wyong and Lakes District Advocate was published in Wyong from 1921. Unfortunately the early years don't seem to be available anywhere. I know Wyong Shire Library and Gosford City Library both used to hold files but from the 1960s only, and a quick look at the online catalogues of the State Library of NSW and the National Library indicates imperfect holdings in both from the 1930s.
