Hi I was wondering if someone may be able to help me. I am trying to find information namely a list of inmates at the above Seamans home from about 1880 to 1886 more particularily I am trying to find a Johan Meyer aka John Myers and his arrival in Newcastle I know he was in Newcastle around February 1886. It is believed that he may have jumped ship in Newcastle harbour and that he was a stowaway although none of this has been able to be confirmed. He was born in Norway in 1860. I have information about him from 1886 to the time he died in 1905 in Newcastle and also from his birth until 1879 in Norway. Its this inbetween time that I would like more information about and would really like some help. Any and all help and or advice is more than greatly appreciated. Thank you all for your time.
