Hi List! Does anyone have the cemetery headstone listing for Lochinvar Cemetery? If so, would they mind doing a look up on John & Catherine HARRIGAN. John died in 1900 and Catherine in 1883. Hi Jenny & Marie These two Harrigans were definitely buried at Lochinvar Roman Catholic Cemetery as I have their death certificates. Not to worry, they must have been buried without headstones - (Which I find surprising, as they had a large number of descendants). I know about all the Branxton Harrigan burials - thanks anyway! I was there in November and took loads of photos - however I didn't even know about the Lochinvar Cemetery until I got the certificates and also found out that other O'Neill ancestors were buried there (Catherine Harrigan's parents Patrick & Esther O'Neill) Many thanks Cathy Geelong Vic On Fri, 2007-02-09 at 08:32 +1100, Jenny McCarthy wrote: > I have Lochinvar Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery and the Harrigans do not > appear > > > ..· ´¨¨)) -:¦:- > ¸.·´ .·´¨¨)) > ((¸¸.·´ ..·´ -:¦:- > -:¦:- ((¸¸.·´*.` > Jenny McCarthy > Brightwaters N.S.W. > on beautiful Lake Macquarie
Hi Cathy, Thanks for that information re the Harrigans buried in the Lochinvar Catholic Cemetery. Records in regard to the cemetery were destroyed when the presbytery was extensively damaged by fire in 1943. Many precious records were destroyed.
