Hello Marilyn My friend is a descendant of William White and Margaret Reilly. Their daughter Charlotte married Robert Madden. I did a little research for her some years ago and found that William White was on the hulk 'Justitia' before transported to NSW. The gaoler's report for the Justitia has the comment 'bad character' alongside his name. I can not locate it on the NSW BDM CD's. I have been given a probable marriage year of 1838 and just three children; William b.?, Elizabeth b.1840 and John b.1846. I am sure that there were more children born to this couple.
