    3. Hi Garry, The town of Paterson is IN THE Parish of Houghton. On average a Parish covers about 40 square miles or about 25,600 acres! (or roughly 10,360 hectares)* * The town of Paterson is not that big. There is no County Houghton in NSW, maybe you meant the Parish of Houghton.
