BUT, if you are, maybe pick a few births at intervals and obtain transcripts - previously born siblings should be shown. Another source might be obituaries - if Richard and Camilla died in the Maitland area, you would expect to find a good newspaper article about the family. I haven't worked on my NSW families for some time now, but I do recall finding some children's deaths recorded in the NSW BDMs, but no births.
