John, Have you looked for deaths of any of the children? I haven't worked on my NSW families for some time now, but I do recall finding some children's deaths recorded in the NSW BDMs, but no births. I haven't bought the death certificates, but guess that maybe the deaths occurred very quickly following or during the birth.
